M87:Press

For sometime now we have been keeping our fans updated with a blog called “The Daily Portal: News and updates from thew blackhole”. Well as the times change so does the way we do things, what was once known as The Daily Portal has been re-branded as M87:Press.

M87:Press will serve as an online magazine featuring the same updates and information as the previous blog but this magazine will also include stories about other local talent and reviews of shows and events.  M87:Press will provide links to information about personal growth and business secrets. Along with providing resources for independent musicians to have their music reviewed. We will write about anything that catches our attention and define it with brutal honesty, we are not here to butter you up or slam you down. The idea is for musicians and venues to get a outside perspective from someone who has been in the music business for over a decade and worked with legendary people. The aim is to create a new network where people who love music can come together and hear or get heard!  Now excepting submissions through May 16th

You will be contacted if we have chosen your music for review, before we publish the review. You will be given a date when the review will be published. Music that we find compelling and extraordinary may receive additional opportunities such as an exclusive interview or coverage.
